Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
PushQuiz (“we”) is a daily quiz app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: support@pushquiz.app.
What we collect
- Account: email address, display name, sign-in method (email, Apple or Google) and an optional profile photo.
- Settings: language, device region (country), time zone, quiz times, chosen themes, notification preferences and quiet hours.
- Gameplay: your answers, XP, level, streaks, unlocked themes and ranking position.
- Device: platform (iOS or Android) and a push notification token, used only to deliver your questions.
- Purchases: subscription status, product and expiry date. Payment details are handled by Apple or Google; we never see your card.
- Support: messages you send us in the app or on pushquiz.app. From the app they include the app version, OS, device model, time zone and language.
- Website: pushquiz.app has no analytics or advertising cookies. It only stores a cookie with the language you pick.
- Crash reports: technical error data (stack traces, device type, app version) linked to your account id.
We do not use advertising, ad identifiers or tracking across other companies’ apps or websites, and we do not sell your data.
Why we use it
- To run the app: send questions at your chosen times, record answers, compute XP, streaks and rankings.
- To manage your Premium subscription and the free Premium week new accounts receive.
- To answer support requests and fix bugs.
The legal bases are the performance of our contract with you (the Terms of Use) and our legitimate interest in keeping the app working and secure.
What other players see
Rankings and public profiles show your display name, photo, country, XP, level, streaks, accuracy and theme progress. Your email is never shown.
Service providers
We share data only with providers that run parts of the app for us:
- Supabase — database, accounts and file storage.
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service — push notifications.
- RevenueCat, Apple App Store and Google Play — subscriptions.
- Sentry — crash reports.
- Apple and Google — sign-in, when you choose it.
These providers may process data outside your country, under their own safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses).
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. Delivery logs are deleted after 90 days. When you delete your account, your profile, photo, answers, progress and subscription record are deleted; crash reports expire under Sentry’s retention period.
Your choices and rights
- Edit your details in Profile → Settings → Change personal details.
- Download your data in Settings → Export account data.
- Delete your account in Settings → Delete account. Deleting the account does not cancel a store subscription: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account.
- Turn notifications off in the app or in your phone settings.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or Brazil’s LGPD), you may also ask us for access, correction, deletion or portability of your data, or object to its use, by writing to support@pushquiz.app. You may complain to your data protection authority.
Children
PushQuiz is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child gave us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We will post changes on this page and update the date above. Important changes will also be announced in the app.
